Steve E. Behrmann | September 20, 2014

There are lessons in each of these churches that apply to us today.

Pergamos

The name Pergamos means Per (for) gamos (a wedding). The city was given as a wedding gift. In prophecy, it is referring to a time when there was a wedding or marriage between church and state. It is the church of compermise.

The three rewards which are given to the third church are hidden manna, the white stone, a new name.

Thyatira

This is a time in history when the church was in full apostocity. Jesabell is on the throne and the preasts of bael are doing there thing.

It represents the longest time period. The dark ages.

Jesus is the morning star.
